Arsenal Star Striker Back To Face Norway

Arsenal striker Robin van Persie has declared himself fit to face Norway in Holland’s World Cup qualifier on Wednesday after shaking off a hamstring injury.

The Gunners forward missed his country’s 2-0 win over Iceland at the weekend but insists he is now ready to play.

“I’m available,” he said. “Now I will wait and see whether the coach needs me.”

Van Persie has endured a torrid time with injuries over the past two seasons but appeared to be back to full fitness this term until he picked up his latest knock. However, it looks as if he will be back in action this week and available for Arsenal’s home match with Everton at the weekend.
