Arsenal set to offer Fabregas £100,000-a-week

Arsenal are ready to make a clear statement on the importance of Cesc Fabregas to their club by offering the Spanish midfielder a wage increased believed to be in the £100,000 a week range.
It’s yet another move by the club to ward off repeated threats to their superstar by Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Cesc signed a deal in 2006 that locked him up through 2014. The wage increase is said to be yet another example of the club’s commitment to its showcase player.
