Arsenal set to launch bid for PSV keeper Gomes

PSV Eindhoven’s highly-rated Brazil goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes is interesting Arsenal.
Arsene Wenger has been searching for a high-class keeper for some time and chief scout Steve Rowley watched Gomes in the UEFA Cup against Fiorentina on Thursday.

finally! anyone but almunia. nothing against almunia but he’s not our standard doesnt do anything outstanding. he’s nothing compared to lehmann lehmann looks like the best keeper in the world compared to him

it must have been a dream . if this signing materialises. I may have to refer to this as a premonition. Gomes very tall, good reactions,cool head just what the professer needs to order

fawaz im an arsenal fan and you do seem to talk a lot of bull, i dont know if youve watched many of our games but almunia has done very little wrong, i watched gomes over 2 legs against spurs and despite doing some good shot stopping he was also very shaky at set pieces, dodgy punches dropped balls etc

Gomes will stay at PSV for life, not only because he wants to win a prize every year but moreover because PSV praises him every week. He’s a living legend, especially because he is so true to psv. Dream on Wengker!
