2006/2007 had come and gone. We ve learnt our lessons but their is always room for improvement. this is not the best time to start thinking about the past, let’s get down to business and get things right the coming season. with Eto and Ribery, Arsenal would be a team to beat any day. i still maintain trophy or no trophy arsenal is a team to watch.

Absolute rubbish, have never heard of such drivel in my life, as if arsenal could afford them both for one instance, also, trying to appease one player (thierry henry) by signing others, surely its only adding to his already over-inflated feeling of self worth (whatever happened to the team being worth more than the sum of the parts?)

what happens to RvP, Ade, Bendtner, Theo, (and Vela when he returns from Spain), if we signed Eto’o ? If we sold Muamba because of too many midfielders (Cesc, Gilberto, Diaby, Denilson) what are we goin to do with another one.
At some point you have to give your guys a chance or else you end up Alliadiere-ing them.

Put the crack pipe down. Eto’o, Ribery et al are out of our leage financially. We simply haven’t got the wedge to afford them. The way we’re spending at the moment we’ll be getting some bloke who works down the chip shop that everyone reckons has quite a good left foot.

i think if we can sign jason robinson on the wing, and maybe martin correy to add some bulk to our forward line, we could be real challengers next year. that is if abramovich doesn’t open his checkbook and splash out the £70 million needed to sign andy cole

Absolute rubbish 40M pounds sterling I doubt it, more like 40M US$ if we’re lucky. Definitely need to beef up the squad to give Cesc, Diaby and Denilson a breather. Don’t want to burn them to out. Eto’o I doubt we afford or accommodate him. Titi and RVP are our first choice strikers. Ade’s, Theo and Bendtner will be good for rotation and cover. I think Arsene will be dispensing more players this summer Flamini, Reyes, Alliadere and Muamba. I think Ribery’s flexibility could make him Arsene’s major signing for the summer. He can play anywhere in midfield and on the wings coupled with the fact that Freddie is approaching the end of his playing days. It all depends on what Marseille can get for him. I think we’ll probably end up with Ryan Babel or Florent Malouda. That still leaves Freddie, Rosicky, Hleb, Diaby, Denilson and Cesc.

this sounds like a winning eleven playstation game transfer. i have been reading transfer rumours all day and i have to laugh this one off. It would be amazing to have this depth, we need the depth, but we cannot just lay-off our boys who have been working so hard this season. Arsene isnt known to do that either, if I know Arsene, the comment about Babel being the top signing sounds more realistic, if he is “SUPER” is Arsene’s eyes, not only will we sign him, but he will flourish at the emirates.

Ribbery is already out of the question since he has moved to Bayern. Etoo would be great at emirates since there is no deadlier attack combination than Henry, Etoo & Van Persie
