Arsenal Legend Wright Thinks Henry Could End Up At Man U!

ARSENAL legend Ian Wright has claimed he would not blame fellow former Gunners scoring sensation Thierry Henry if he joined Manchester United.

Wright, who was overtaken at the top of the north Londoners all-time scoring charts by the Frenchman, believes it would be a huge test of sentiment for the Barcelona striker if he was to head back to the Premier League with a move to Old Trafford.

In his Sun column Wright said: “People often say there is no room for sentiment in football.

“Well, the biggest test of that will come in the next few days when we find out whether Thierry Henry really would be interested in joining Manchester United.

“The former Arsenal hero has said in the past he would only ever return to England to play for his old club again.

“But if you ask me, I wouldn’t blame him if he went to play under Alex Ferguson, especially if Barcelona want to get rid of him.

“Most Arsenal fans would love the French idol back at the Emirates one day. But it’s fairly obvious Arsene Wenger doesn’t want him.

“Of course, Arsenal fans would be devastated if Henry joined their biggest rivals. In their book, there is no worse crime.

“But look at this sensibly. Thierry, who turns 31 on Sunday, still has bags to offer and only a few years left to show it. For one reason or another, he hasn’t had the kind of success at Barcelona he’d have probably hoped for.

“If he is out for one last move, then he will want to come back to England where everyone loves him and he can be the main man again.

“Other than Arsenal, there’s only one team for a player of that calibre — and that’s United.”

Wright is an arrogant cunt… I hate him, always jumping on the slagging Arsenal bandwaggon. It’s unbelievable how pessimistic he is about Arsenal, every season hes writing us off before its even began. He never says anythig remotley positive about Arsenal.

Spot on Matt. It amazes me how anti-Arsenal he is. He will always be an Arsenal legend though, just wish he’d shut up..

Ian Wright strikes again. Every year its the same, taking a swipe at arsenal. As if it wasn’t enough convincinr SWP to join chavski instead of the best footballing team in the world now hes trying to get one of our best ever players to join our biggest rivals. (i didn’t say spuds coz they arn’t a threat)

He should just fuck off and keep his 2non-sense to himself.

Wrighty strikes again !!!! Another nail in arsenal’s coffin ? never have time to say anything positive about arsenal .. why ? because wenger sold you instead of allowing you to retire ? well, I am sure yourself and wenger know why that happened.

You are held up as a legend in most gooners eyes, but you are fast losing our respect and legend-ness (if there is such a word) …

Wake up, smell the coffee, grow up and appreciate gooners love for you and your time at the club and get off our backs .. we get enough sh*t from the british press already.

Ian’s a bit bitter because Arsne didn’t sign his son Shaun to play for us, I can understand that to be fair because I actually wish that we had have signed the lad as i’m sure he’d have been great for us. And round about that time Ian allegedly said that if he had his time over again he’d have joined Chelsea, that’s when I first heard these anti Arsenal murmerings. On top of that think of it like this it would be in Ian’s interests if Henry joined Manure because he would then replace Theirry in the fans eyes and become the number one all time legend at our club, and to be fair he’ll always be a legend anyway but I wish that he wasn’t so damn bitter.
