Arsenal Boss WILL Add To The Squad

Arsene Wenger will ‘certainly’ be delving into the transfer market before the deadline of August 31.
The Frenchman confirmed that he would be strengthening the midfield following the departures of Mathieu Flamini and Gilberto and duly signed youngster Amary Bischoff.
But it is thought the Gunners boss wants one more experienced head in the middle to partner Cesc Fabregas and there is sure to be more haste about finding the right man following Abou Diaby’s recent injury which is likely to sideline him for up to a month.
“Will something be done ahead of the second leg? Certainly yes, but before Saturday, no,” the Frenchman told the club’s official website.
Wenger also chose to take the positives out of the team’s 2-0 victory over FC Twente in their Champions League qualifier last week despite criticism over a lacklustre display.
“If you look at the number of players we had out (against Twente), you can say it was very positive for us,” he added.
“We did not have Abou Diaby, Cesc Fabregas, Tomas Rosicky, Nasri, Kolo Toure, Eduardo and Senderos while Alexandre Song is at the Olympics.
“We missed seven or eight players, so for me our squad looks big because the players who were here did well.”
