Ac Milan close to landing Chelsea centre back

AC Milan are closing in on Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho.

The Mirror says Portugal’s central defender, outstanding all season, is being targeted by AC Milan and has served three years of his initial five-season contract, technically allowing him the right to ‘buy out’ the remaining two years of his deal.

But Milan are likely to offer around £12m to land a player who may decide that his time in English football has come to a natural end.
