History was created in England last night as Leicester’s Kelechi Iheanacho had his disallowed goal against Fleetwood given after VAR, thus making it the first ever VAR goal in England. Iheanacho, the former Manchester City striker, scored once in each half, as Leicester, captained by Riyad Mahrez, ended Fleetwood’s Cup run with a 2-0 win

Iheanacho will now be a quizzing favourite, holding the dual records of being the first fourth sub and scorer of the first VAR goal in England.
