Tyrone Mears Injury- New Bolton signing breaks leg in training

New Bolton Wanderers signing Tyrone Mears has broken his leg in training and may not make an appearance for the Trotters till next season. Mears, who recently arrived at the Reebok along with Burnley teammate Christopher Eagles, suffered the injury in training while trying to make a tackle. He was immediately taken to hospital where X-Rays confirmed that he had broken the leg.

The news of Tyrone Mears’ leg injury is a big blow to Bolton after Lee Chung-yong fractured his leg in two places during a pre-season friendly with Newport Count a few days ago.

Chung-Yong has been ruled out for nine months, and it is feared that Mears will be out for a similar length of time.
