Los Angeles Galaxy have been linked with a sensational move for Irish striker Robbie Keane. Keane, the current captain of the Irish national football team, is surplus to requirements at Tottenham Hotspur and has recently had loan spells with both Celtic and West Ham in order to have regular playing time under his belt.
The reports came in after ex Trinidad and Tobago keeper Shaka Hislop, now an ESPN analyst, revealed that he had reliable information about Keane agreeing a deal with Galaxy. Another source claimed that Keane had agreed to a nine million dollar deal over two years.
Keane has been recently linked with a switch to Leicester City, where former England manager Sven Goran Eriksson is plotting for the Foxes to have a quick return back to the Premier League. West Brom, Blackburn and former club Wolverhampton have also been quoted as clubs willing to offer him a new lease of life in the Premier League
